mojocattWay to go CNN, right on the ball on this one, it only took you five years to figure it out. Shit, I've been freaked out since dubya convinced our shmuck congress to vote for a war based on false intelligence, poor judgement and patriotism.
Poll: Americans angry, worried over state of nation
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A new national poll suggests that only a quarter of Americans think things are going well in the country today, while the rest of those questioned are angry, scared and stressed out.

From my post yesterday:
MINNEAPOLIS (MJC) -- They have used fear to stay in office and pass legislation for so long now, some people are really scared of doing things different. People have snuggled up to the patriot act and violations of the 4th, 5th 6th, 8th Amendments like a warm blanket. Every time he has addressed the nation it has been about what to fear, not where to go, not how to be brave. Be suspicious, distrust outsiders, monitor the different ones, guilty before proven, dissent is treason, reason is unpatriotic, questions show lack of faith.
In short, the current residents of the executive branch have sown a garden of paranoid lunatic patriots (fueled by no other than ample amounts of cow manure), and now the garden is bearing fruit.
And now the media does the head scratch on why Americans are fearful and upset.
