I now hold a certificate that vouches for my training and proficiency with a handgun and can apply to carry. Although the proficiency test is a little so so. Basically you are required to get a certain percentage of rounds into a 10 inch circle. Most of us were spot on, but one fellows target looked like he discharged a cannon loaded with 9 mm slugs.
