I was going to put some plants out the end of this week but the forecast calls for temps next week a little too close to freezing for comfort. Poo, I'm ready to get this spring thing going.

Sharpen the lawn mower blades, yes I said blades, I have two lawn mowers now. My neighbor threw away an identical model (couple of years newer) to my first one for nothing more than a stuck governor and broken starting rope. I was all like "free replacement parts!", at least when the older one breaks down someday, until then there are two.

I watched another neighbor's van get stolen the other week, just peeked out the window and watched. In fact about a half dozen people witnessed the theft but did nothing. Now, normally one would expect a good neighbor to car the police in the situation. But this was different, the thieves were driving a flatbed tow truck with big red emergency lights turned on. They backed right up to the van in his drive way and pulled it up on the bed and drove off. No one suspected it was a theft, we all thought it was a repossession, transfer or repair since it did not run.
