Okay, the car is in the shop. I doubt I will actully be able to focus on any real work while waiting for the results. The sooner the shop calls, the less severe the problem.

Take the What High School
Stereotype Are You?
quiz.

Well, I suppose. My mind works in a goth fashion, but I certainly never looked the part. I honestly don't think I ever fell into any real catagory, besides "slacker / looser and proud of it".

$380

Ever get a static shock as you exit your car? I know I do sometimes. I found some suggestions on how to avoid a static shock from your car.

How can I keep from getting a shock when I exit my Neon?
~~~~~~~~~~
Method 1: Get a conductive strap that bolts to the frame - when you
stop, the end contacts the ground and bleeds the charge off the car.
Method 2: Keep your hand on the edge of the door (or any metal part)
as you get out.
Method 3: Drive naked. Then you won't build up any static electricity
between you and your clothes. If you wet your pants, that should
dissipate the excess charge as well.
(FAQ author's note: This may violate indecent exposure laws in
some states. :)
