A fairly quiet holiday weekend. Most notable for a fine dinner at Jax Cafe in NE Minneapolis for my father in laws 60th birthday. Rowan really enjoyed listening to the piano player, she has quite an ear for music.
More work on the
caveman /
rampion estate. Still a long way to go go, but you can see the light at the end now. Detail work and painting.
But those four days just go by so fast. I need to take a solid week of vacation sometime soon.
This week marks the last five days of
boffy's radiation treatment. I won't know what to do with myself staying home on afternoons and not having to run to the hospital every day. The hospital will be better off without me hanging around. The staff is uncomfortable around me for some reason or another. The doctor seems to have a mixture of unease and confusion about me whenever I am near. My grandboss acts the smae way around me, I wonder what it is that makes some people uneasy around me? Whatever it is, I like it. It makes otherwise intelligent and confident people turn into gibbering loons.
