(no subject)

Today at 10:00 am we will bring our cat Chunk into the vet to be put down. The treatment for his kidney failure was marginal at best and he is quite miserable. This is too bad, he is only 8 or so and was very well behaved and friendly, not prone to that cat snobbery.

It is a little sobering to look at a family member who will be dead in two hours by your decision as you leave for work.
