Things are remarkably calm. Added some compost and peat moss to the garden and planted some zucchini squash, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, cayenne peppers and potatoes yesterday. Earned myself a April sunburn on my back. Noticed the tomato seedlings popped up last night on the back porch. Oregano, chives and sweet basil taking off in the herb garden, where the hell is the parsley is I have no idea, I will need to replant. Sage is ready for transplanting.

Sat in the backyard and watched the first real thunderstorm of the season roll in while I sipped on a Firebrick lager. I love the smell of a impending thunderstorm. 40 mph gusts sending various parts of trees flying past me or hitting me. Three different layers of clouds of various shades of gray mixed with each other like a blender, serious updrafts sucking the lower layers into holes in the lower clouds. Watched a duck fly sideways over my head. Sat there as it began to rain, got rained on like some sort of fool. Mother nature is awesome, I never tire of watching her, even when she brings death, because in the same stroke she will bring life. I don't bow before any god, but I will readily acknowledge that Mother nature is certainly the boss of me.

Everything is green this morning.

My Elven Fighting Knifes are shipping today.
