What's left to pare down? It's already gutted.
The GOP went out of it's way to oppose it for no other reason than to make the Dems look bad. The Dems don't have the brains or balls to leverage a 59 to 41 advantage in the senate.
I'm going back to third party votes, they both disgust me.
