Greatest POTUS of All Time Tribute

Did the deer hunting thing over the weekend. Shots were slim pickings, the high winds over the weekend kept the deer bedded down most of the time. A few were wandering about, but not many. The corn was still up as well, and that never helps matters. Still the family managed to bring in two deer. But it was bitterly cold out there in that wind, hot coffee never tastes as good as after your ass is froze.

I was listening to Minnesota Public Radio while out in the company truck today. The subject was the transition to an Obama presidency, and it was so strange to hear that progress is going well. In fact, experts on the subject of executive office transitions gave the Obama transition team a A++.

A A++, and he has yet to even take office.

I'm so used to the office of POTUS crapping out D's, F's and the occasional C- that anything over a C is nothing less than stunning.

Although Obama did lose points with me today, when dubya and Obama came out of the White House after their two hour meeting, dubya did not sport a black eye. I was kinda hoping Obama would clock him for us.

LeAnn is still doing good, the stitches were removed last week and she still shows no sign of problems. The tumor is still the same size, but has not grown since the gamma knife treatment.
