I'm less and less impressed by the McCain campaign as time grinds on, I was hoping he would do better than cheap stunts. The idea of mocking someone because they propose good tire maintenance to help conserve fuel, makes one look a slight tad ignorant. I should be viewing this with more of a sense of humor, I'm sure, but maintaining good tire pressure is something we can be doing right here and now to help solve the problem. You may not see a huge difference in your personal gas tanks, but those drops saved add up over millions of cars and trucks.

What's even worse are some of the comments made by readers. Clearly we are living in a nation of fucking morons. Whenever I manage to forget it, they are always ready to remind me.

I may never agree with Senator McCain, but he's taken his lumps and up until recently spoke his mind, stuck to things that were important, yet had a sense of humor. Now he is some sort of mud tossing GOP moron on par with dubya.

And now witness a mock news program do a better job reporting he tire gage scandal than any genuine news agencies.

In this video at the Colbert Report, I think McCain is a razors edge from saying "get off my lawn you little punks".
1:20 "My opponent doesn't want to drill, he doesn't want nuclear power. He wants you to inflate your tires"

More Colbert blabber.

It's been a long time since I laughed at something so hard. I was munching on a bowl of ramen noodles and I damn near sprayed the TV with ramen chunks.

If you want to see the CNN report, go to CNN video and search for Canton.
