Well the results of my poll are in. With the condition that only these five voters would vote on election day, Cookie Monster would be the new senator from Minnesota in a landslide victory.

In other news history is wrong. While playing Civilization III last night I discovered the Chinese sacked Birmingham UK in 1,200 BC and burned it to the ground. I guess I never gave the Chinese enough credit and explains the world wide distribution of Chinese food.

The world wide distribution of cheese must then mean Wisconsin had a vast empire before that.

Rowan missed the bus this morning and I needed to drive her in. A toasty 2 F out there, not the worst I've seen by a long shot, but the ol' bed, blankets, pillows and cats option seems much better.

After that I wandered into work, but I'm feeling quite lethargic. I need to spend a day or two in bed and recharge the batteries.
