mojocatt: (Are you Serious?)
I was really hoping that we could tip a few this weekend in honor of dubya's exit. Alas. But as they said "the people have spoken", and as the Daily Show said last night about the people speaking, "we will refrain from comment out of respect for the mentally retarded". But as I said, I will drill a new well from which fresh apathy and spite shall flow freely when provoked. I will not waste energy expressing pure anger.

The good news is the conservative right is now in the drivers seat, senate, house and White House. Yes, that is good news, in a way. I say let them drive for the next two years, and see where they take us. They wanted control, now they have control, now shut up and start driving. If they drive in a good direction, thats great. If they drive bad, they have more than enough rope to hang themselves with. Democracy is a self righting mechanism.

***Mojo kicks feet up on table, places hands behind head*** Now, show me this shit of yours that you claim has not an odor of shit. Go on, you're in control, show me.

[livejournal.com profile] mavrik1033 took [livejournal.com profile] boffy in for her treatment yesterday evening, mucho thanks. He stuck around for dinner, beer, was Rowan's favorite toy of the evening, and insisted he was now the new "bo-bo". I am beginning to think Bo-bo is some sort of slanderous cheeky remark.

Nader Supporters Blame Electoral Defeat On Bush, Kerry

~The Onion
WASHINGTON, DC—Supporters of presidential candidate Ralph Nader blamed his defeat Tuesday on George W. Bush and John Kerry, claiming that the two candidates "ate up" his share of the electoral votes. "This election was stolen out from under Mr. Nader by Bush and Kerry, who diverted his votes to the right and the left," Nader campaign manager Theresa Amato said. "It's an outrage. If Nader were the only candidate, he would be president right now." In his concession speech, Nader characterized Bush and Kerry as spoilers.
