So Rowan just broke everyone's heart at Grandma's burial yesterday.
I was one of six pallbearers including my sister and cousins, I was on the right side rear, carrying with my left hand. Once we got the coffin out of the hearse, we started a good 35 yard walk to the grave site next to Grandpa. Solid oak casket, over uneven ground in a cemetery over 150 years old, a super bitch to carry. (I seem to remember Grandpa's being much lighter) The family followed behind the pallbearers and casket, I could see them over my left shoulder out of the corner of my eye. Rowan broke loose of Boffy and ran after me on my right side, she grabbed my right hand and held it all the way to the grave.
She is so perceptive for a three year old, she never ceases to blow my mind.
