Already its Thursday, the week is going by at a quick pace.

I walk in each morning with the trepidation of a man walking into a minefield though. At any morning the promise keeper could be waiting for me, Waiting to tell me the good news about Jesus and dubya. I never gave it too much thought before, but I suppose it could be getting to the point of genuine harassment when I have to rest my hand on the doorknob and hesitate ten to fifteen seconds before opening the door and entering.

But I think he is on his mission to some third world country this week, I can’t remember when he said he was going. I can only hope the trip opens his eyes and shuts his mouth. But that will never happen, these types have a one way mind, and no amount of common sense or culture is going to remove the roadblock they have setup in each ear.

Last Sunday I sat with my ailing Grandmother talking about of all things, politics and religion. I told her that have come to learn that true men and women of God, never tell you they are, they just live that way and never force their opinions or morals upon others. The charlatans, those who desire power in the name of God, will use it to attempt to bring about law and policy to control and judge you to their standards. She never said a word, she just gave me a look that I am wise beyond my years and see the situation clearly for what it is, a very high compliment from someone who has the wisdom of many years past.

Can Do

Well, grandma is cool with our plans to build a house on the land up in Isanti. So, I need to check with the local building officials to see what the requirements are. We are looking at a 2006 - 2007 timeframe, three bedroom craftsman style. We want to get Rowan through pre-school before making a move, and before kidergarten, so she won't go through the trama of losing new friends.

The commute should be about 40-45 minutes each way, 78 mile round trip, 18,500 miles a year, 14.1 days driving per year. Losts of money in the ol' gas tank, but it would be made up by the reduction in insurance costs. Funny, I can commute 1 mile in the city and park my car in the city, or I can drive 78 miles a day and park in the country and pay less. The insurance industry makes no sense.

Thats more driving than I do in five years, but it will be worth it to get Rowan in the school system up there.
