1/4 turn ball valve fun
Aug. 9th, 2004 09:49 pmOh jeez, where does a guy start. The bathroom is coming along fine, the floor is in, the bathtub is in.
This is my vacation and I am working at least twice as hard as I do at the office. The bathroom remodeling is coming along, slow but sure.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
notbatman, caveman and conandammit swung by to help me get the bathtub into place. While we were positioning the bathtub I kicked the water shut off on the toilet water supply and water started spraying. Chaos was king for two full seconds as four large men yelled about crazy spraying water in a 12x8 foot box. I thought the pipe broke off, so I was relieved to discover that I merely kicked the 1/4 turn ball valve.
The 1/4 turn ball type valve seemed like a good idea in the hardware store.
boffy's acoustic neuroma has doubled in size since her surgery two years ago, not good news. We visit the doctor tomorrow to discuss the options available to us.
