Up North I am

Well Grandma finally cashed her chips in very early Wednesday morning. So, I am off work and up north at her place. It was a little strange, I woke up in the middle of the night about that time and had a strange feeling that she was gone. It was a comforting feeling that the suffering had ended. I expected the phone to ring, but she was not discovered in the state of death until later, and no one wanted to call me at work with the news. So I dismissed my little vision until today when I asked about the time of death. Very strange, makes one wonder about such matters.

Got a chance to do so fishing on the Rum River today. Caught one small northren pike using a frog as bait, never hooked into a northren pike on a frog, strange.

Picked up a case of Grain Belt beer to share with the family, and I am several Grain Belts into the case.

The service is tomorrow. I plan on reading a letter for the Korean war my grandfather send to my grandmother, where he calls her "the best redhead in the world".
