This is why I am a crusader. This is why I do the piddly-ass things I do to try to make a tiny positive difference in the world. What a wonderful world it would be if even half of the populace would do genuinely nice and good things, without being legislated, badgered, or forced into it. It would be amazing.
As for the war, and increased hostile perspectives of the U.S.: it isn't just the Arab world. Europe is wondering what the hell "we" are up to, Asian nations are distrusting us more and more (with good reason), and even our allies in the western hemisphere are concerned. "We" are getting more and more enemies every day, when people die because of "our" stupidity (I wonder how the relatives of the people killed in the train bombings feel about the US as it is being run right now?).
I want Bush out. I know that won't cure all of the crap that he's dished out in the US's name in the past 3 years. But maybe it could stop fueling the fires, though.
